Impassioned by stories that must be told, Outlaw Lynn takes the stage with his own brand of blues, rock, and country to complete a sole mission: to entertain. This biker baritone writes of love and loss, vixens and veterans, and uses a variety of styles to do so. Outlaw Lynn adds an array of flavors to these eleven tracks. From a Cajun feel to a Mexican feel, Lynn leads listeners on a ride through the mostly country offering, taking the occasional exit to refuel with a tender ballad or to rock the house. “Times” is a highlight of the album, Outlaw Lynn’s tribute to American war veterans. Lynn offers two versions of the title cut, one designed for the live-to-ride in all of us and one for the country fan. Surrounded by adept pickers, Outlaw Lynn utilizes a few innovative arrangements to drive home his point, including some great keyboard work by Mike Sicola. This is one of those discs that becomes your bridge between gigs. From the last Outlaw Lynn show to the next, this disc will keep you firmly in the lane. All the ladies should get a t-shirt that says “I’m a Hot Ridin’ Mama” and wear it to the next Outlaw Lynn show.
